York Building Products Hosts Lunch and Learn for Society of American Military Engineers, Chesapeake Post
The Society of American Military Engineers, Chesapeake Post recently revisited our Belvedere Sand & Gravel and Principio Stone plants in Port Deposit, MD, for a lunch and learn session. Having previously visited in May, this return allowed them to witness the completion of our new plants and gain insight into the evolution of our facilities.
Over box lunches, our team shared the rich history of the site and detailed the intricate mining processes that power our operations. The engineers had the opportunity to explore the engineering tools integral to designing, planning, and operating our mines, gaining a comprehensive understanding of our technological infrastructure.
A highlight of the day was a guided tour of the quarry and crushing plant, providing an up-close look at our operations, including a visit inside the control house to witness the impressive motor controls and graphic interfaces. The event proved to be a mutually enriching and enjoyable experience for all involved.
